Star Wars has captivated us since we first heard about Lord Vader and the Jedi Order. Most of our time has been spent reading Star Wars comic books and watching movies and TV shows. Aside from that, we have also played a number of Star Wars games, but not all of them lived up to the standards.

Some of them feature a week storyline while others had their own flaws. However, there was a handful of Star Wars that impressed us with their seamless gameplay backed by superb acting and mechanics. Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic features solid gameplay with tons of side-quests and tons of exploration that force you to discover the new stories from the realm. Offering the most realistic experience of the Star Wars universe, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic is regarded as one of the finest games in the Star Wars franchise. 

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic has a great feel to it and its vast world is filled with opportunities, making the game never become boring. At each corner, you’ll face off with the most devilish creature in the world, continuing to make the game more attractive and fun to play. Moreover, there’s a sequel to this game as well, which adds to more fun and enjoyment. 

Star Wars Battlefront 2

Star Wars Battlefront 2 is a first-person shooter featuring a short-lived campaign that told the story of the commander of the imperial forces that led her troops to the victory. A truly inspirational plot and it was easy to swallow. However, the campaign was quite short and failed to reach the expectations of the enthusiasts. 

Nevertheless, the flawed and short-lived story of Star Wars Battlefront 2 didn’t let it be a turn-down. Because the multiplayer version of the game blew everyone with its excellent mechanics and enjoyable gameplay. This action-shooter from Star Wars was highly appreciated for its excellent multiplayer mode and well-crafted world. 

And even to this day, thousands of players tune in every day to taste the glory. Some people may agree with us while others not so much but, Star Wars Battlefront 2 is one of the best Star Wars games we’ve played in a while and we highly recommend it. 

Star Wars: Squadrons

Ever dreamt of flying a Jedi’s ship that’s laden with tons of laser shooters and sophisticated weaponry? Now’s your chance. Star Wars: Squadron is a first-person shooter that puts in the driving seats of the battleships and all you have to do is take out the target one by one using the sophisticated piece of technology while keeping your head on your shoulder. 

During the campaign, players will go on different missions to take out the motherships but in the meantime, they also have to face off against highly-trained AIs that are a bit of a challenge. And unless you know your way around your Battleship’s joystick, you might now be back to tell the tale. 

And with the multiplayer mode featuring intense deathmatches, the game does get quite competitive and offers much more fun. If you want to live the Star Wars fantasy with or against your friends then Star Wars: Squadrons is right up your alley. It features solid mechanics with realistic graphics and has a great feel to it which many Star Wars fanatics would love. 

Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order

One of the finest Star Wars games we’ve seen in a while, Jedi Fallen Order surpasses the threshold of greatness and offers memorable gameplay. Highly inspired by the movies, Jedi Fallen Order features a realistic universe that’s far far away from us. Featuring the three deadly sisters and a lot of Stormtroopers, you, Cal Kestis (the main protagonist) will have to face off against the most fierce enemies to the world a peaceful place.

The graphics of Jedi Fallen Order are absolutely a treat for your eyes and the voice acting with excellent craftsmanship makes this game a true gem. However, Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order is badly optimized for PC and even the best and the bulkiest PCs had a hard time maintaining stable FPS in the game. 

Nevertheless, the open-world narrative of the Jedi world filled with everything from unique creatures to sophisticated battleships makes it a well-balanced game. And even though critics had mixed reviews about the game, Star Wars: Fallen Jedi is globally considered as one of the finest games in the Star Wars franchise. 

Republic Commando

From the finely-crafted weaponry that can bring down a rain of hell to the immense world filled with an action-filled environment, Republic Commando makes up for one excellent Star Wars game. Featuring the deadly Delta Squad, the game puts you in the boots of ruthless warriors in the time of Clone wars who are crushing everything in their path to achieve their target. 

Delta Squad consists of 4 members, each one with its own unique abilities and moves. Players can choose their commander and control the rest of the squad using a variety of commands and orders. Moreover, the perfect storyline and the bombastic gameplay made it a huge hit among the fans, and even to this day, enthusiasts tend to revisit the classic from time to time. 

In the eyes of many, Republic Commando is one of the best Star Wars games ever released and we humbly agree with them. Lastly, If you’re looking for a classic Star Wars game that’s lives up to its expectations then there isn’t one better than Republic Commando.
